CB - Digipak Ideas

We have looked through magazines and on the internet to get inspiration for the digipak which will represent Dr. Syntax. We like the idea of an art style as it is quite unique, much like our artist Dr Syntax.

Two Album covers in particular stood out to us:

Grieves, Together Apart (2011)                 Grieves, The Confessions Of Mr. Modest (2010)

Other forms of Grieves' digipak contain other unique artistic styles that is similar to the effect we want to create:

We want to gain the meat shot of the artist in our digipak but also create a unique style of him by giving an artsitic style as seen below. The meat shot will be similar to these:

We have also had influence from a illustrator and artist 'Paul Willoughby', who illustrated the magazine 'Little White Lies', The Jarhead Issue. We really liked his style which he creates and we think it can create a very effective style towards us. The flower like styles could be used around the main meat shot of the artist.
